Health Insurance For International Students
The University Health Insurance Plan (UHIP) is a mandatory health plan for all international students not covered by the Ontario Health Insurance Plan (OHIP). UHIP helps to cover the cost of hospital and medical services that you may need to maintain your health while in Canada.
As an international student or exchange student you are automatically enrolled in UHIP and the coverage charge will be listed on ROSI. UHIP coverage may also be extended to your eligible dependent family member(s).
